ABOUT BZU

BZU Artist Management & Publishing is an independent artist management, publishing and creative platform founded by Beatrix Zita Urbán and based between Spain and France.

Drawing on more than three decades of professional experience in classical music, BZU was created with a clear purpose: to build meaningful artistic partnerships and support exceptional musicians, composers and projects through thoughtful management, publishing and long-term creative development.

BZU PUBLISHING

BZU Publishing manages and promotes the works of conductor and composer Joseph Swensen, supporting the international visibility and performance of his music and providing access to scores and performance materials.

Our publishing work is centred on bringing contemporary music into the concert hall and developing lasting relationships between composers, performers, orchestras and presenters.

ARTIST MANAGEMENT & PROJECTS

BZU works with a carefully selected roster of artists, providing personalised representation, career development and international project support.

Our approach is deliberately individual. Rather than focusing on numbers, we develop long-term collaborations shaped around each artist’s identity, ambitions and artistic direction.

BZU also develops and supports creative projects, connecting artists, orchestras, presenters and cultural organisations and helping projects move from artistic concept to the international stage.

BZU creates websites specifically for classical musicians, composers and other music professionals.

Combining an understanding of the classical music industry with website design, we create clear, distinctive digital identities that bring together biography, repertoire, recordings, press materials, media and professional information.

BEATRIX ZITA URBÁN

Beatrix Zita Urbán is a violinist and violist, artist manager and publisher with more than four decades of professional experience in classical music.

Her background as a performing musician informs BZU’s approach: artist-led, practical and focused on understanding both the artistic and professional realities of an international career.

Through BZU, she works across artist management, music publishing, international project development and website design for classical musicians.
